Quartz sand: The main component is silicon dioxide (SiO₂), which is the basic skeleton of glass and increases the hardness and fire resistance of glass. Soda ash: The chemical name is sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃), which plays a role in regulating pH and helping melting in the glass manufacturing process. Limestone and dolomite: The main components are calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), which decomposes at high temperatures and releases carbon dioxide, which helps the formation of glass. Feldspar: Contains potassium, sodium, calcium and other components, which affect the melting temperature and viscosity of glass. Borax: Sodium borate (Na₂B₄O₇), which helps to lower the melting point and viscosity of glass and improve the performance of glass.
Compounds of lead and barium: such as lead oxide (PbO) and barium oxide (BaO), can increase the transparency and refractive index of glass, making the glass bottle more beautiful.
